-- Job Description: Space Systems EMC and Electrical Engineer - Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid) Introduction An opportunity for a Space Systems EMC and Electrical Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid) .
The selected candidate will join the Electrical Systems Spain Department (TSEOE7).
In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to specify, analyze, and test systems from an electronic and mainly EMC perspective, contributing to the on-cost, on-time, and on-quality delivery of satellite platforms and payloads (including active antennas) for Telecommunications, Earth Observation, Science, and Navigation programs.




RESPONSIBILITIES The main tasks of the jobholder will be: Manage all technical aspects related to the EMC area under the coordination of the System Architect, following up on platforms, payloads, and instruments from an EMC perspective.
Elaborate and maintain technical EMC requirement specifications and budgets, including Frequency analysis, EMC control plans, and CE/CS, RE/RS, RFC, and Magnetic budgets.
Review suppliers' hardware designs and PCB layouts, supporting EMC-related constraints and providing design, development, and testing solutions.
