ICON seeks a Global Supply Chain Specialist to support the launch and operation of a new clinical trial kit production facility in Barcelona. The role involves coordinating global distribution of trial supplies, managing logistics operations, and ensuring compliant on-time delivery to investigator sites worldwide.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate global shipment of clinical trial kits and supplies to investigator sites
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, resolving delays and transportation issues proactively
- Support setup and implementation of protocol-specific logistics plans
- Prepare shipping documentation, commercial invoices, and import/export paperwork
- Manage courier relationships and identify cost-effective shipping solutions

Requirements





- Experience in supply chain, logistics, clinical supplies, or pharmaceutical operations
- Strong knowledge of general shipping and transportation processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex logistics problems
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and supply chain management systems
- Fluency in English; additional European languages beneficial
