Role Description

We are hiring a Cryptocurrency Trader to support digital asset research, trading strategy, execution, and portfolio monitoring. This remote, Spain-based role focuses on evaluating market opportunities and managing exposure through disciplined analysis and established risk controls.

Responsibilities

- Analyze cryptocurrency markets, liquidity, volatility, and price trends.
- Develop trading recommendations with defined entry, exit, and position-sizing criteria.
- Execute approved trades through designated organizational accounts within established limits.
- Monitor positions, transaction costs, portfolio exposure, and performance.
- Evaluate strategies through backtesting and ongoing performance analysis.
- Prepare market updates, trade reviews, and risk reports.




- Maintain accurate records and escalation issues or risk-limit breaches.

Qualifications

- Experience in cryptocurrency trading or a related financial markets role.
- Strong understanding of order types, market mechanics, liquidity, and risk management.
- Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Ability to assess trading performance after fees, slippage, and risk exposure.
- Strong analytical, communication, and recordkeeping skills.
- Based in Spain and legally authorized to work in Spain.

Preferred Background

- Experience with a trading firm, fintech company, digital asset platform, or asset manager.
- Familiarity with TradingView, Dune, DefiLlama, Excel, Python, or SQL.
- Understanding of exchange APIs, on-chain analytics, and systematic trading.

Compensation

€75,000 - €95,000 gross per year, depending on experience and responsibilities.
