A local construction company is currently hiring two skilled tradespeople for the position of First-Class Mason in Llucmajor. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your craftsmanship to solid residential projects in the southern area of Mallorca, offering job security, regular daytime hours, and a permanent contract.
In this role, you will handle a broad spectrum of general building and bricklaying tasks from the ground up to the finished structure. Your core duties include:
- Pouring and smoothing concrete screeds and laying solid subfloors.
- Tiling floors and walls, including detailed tile jointing and grouting.
- Plastering, rendering, and applying fine finishes to exterior and interior walls.
- Setting and securing door frames, as well as handling formwork for residential buildings.
- Constructing building levels, erecting roofs, placing structural beams, assembling bovedillas (curved ceiling blocks), and pouring concrete.
To be considered for this opening, you must bring documented field experience and practical autonomy on site. The required qualifications include:
- At least 36 months (3 years) of proven professional experience as a mason or bricklayer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of traditional and modern residential construction methods, from rough framing to fine interior and exterior finishes.
- A reliable, careful, and independent way of working on active building sites.
