About the Role
Our client, a progressive organization involved in infrastructure development, is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager Trainee for their operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This trainee position is an excellent entry point for individuals aiming to build a career in project management. You will gain exposure to the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, across various company initiatives. Working closely with experienced Project Managers, you will learn essential skills in project coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management, and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities
* Assist Project Managers in planning and scheduling project activities.
* Track project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
* Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation.
* Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
* Assist in managing project budgets and resource allocation.
* Learn and apply project management methodologies and tools.
* Help in identifying and assessing project risks.




* Contribute to team meetings and provide updates on project status.
* Support the procurement process for project resources.
* Assist in project closure activities and post-project reviews. Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project, Excel, and Word.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Enthusiasm for learning project management principles and practices.
* A problem-solving mindset.
* Willingness to travel occasionally as project needs dictate.
