About the Role

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Production and Manufacturing Manager to oversee their operations in Madrid, Madrid . This critical role involves leading and optimizing all aspects of the production process, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You will be responsible for managing production schedules, supervising a team of production staff, implementing process improvements, and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Manage, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Monitor production output and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all production machinery and equipment.




- Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage budgets related to production operations, including labor and materials.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
