About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the financial technology sector, is seeking a highly experienced Lead Dev Ops Architect to join their innovative team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration, enabling you to shape and implement cutting-edge Dev Ops strategies. You will be responsible for designing and architecting robust CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions that enhance development agility, system reliability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

- Design, architect, and implement comprehensive CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies for software delivery.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on automation, scalability, and security.
- Establish and enforce Dev Ops best practices, including version control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and monitoring.
- Lead the selection and integration of appropriate Dev Ops tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging,



and alerting systems for applications and infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Dev Ops engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to build, deployment, and operational environments.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Dev Ops processes and system reliability.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations, software development, or system administration, with at least 4 years focused on Dev Ops architecture and implementation.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, or CircleCI.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell).
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
