Senior Industrial Designer

to help bring our next generation of products to life.

THE ROLE You’ll take products from brief to production: patterns, prototypes, tech packs, sampling, and working directly with our factories in China and Vietnam. You’ll have real ownership of your projects and direct influence on our product roadmap.

Our idóneo candidate has significant experience with

soft goods, particularly backpacks, bags, technical textiles, outdoor equipment, or wearable accessories.

You’ll have substantial ownership over your projects, the freedom to propose innovative solutions, and the responsibility to ensure your designs are functional, manufacturable, and commercially viable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop innovative physical products from initial concepts through production-ready designs.

Create sketches, 3D models, CAD files, technical drawings, and product visualizations.

Balance functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics, durability, safety, and manufacturing costs.

Design products that consider both feline comfort and human usability.

Research materials, construction techniques, components, and emerging product innovations.

Prototyping & Product Development

Develop and coordinate prototypes, evaluate physical samples,



and refine designs through iterative testing.

Prepare comprehensive tech packs, technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing documentation.

Apply design-for-manufacturing principles to ensure products can be efficiently produced at scale.

Identify potential design weaknesses and proactively develop practical solutions.

Evaluate materials, stitching patterns, reinforcements, hardware, and construction methods.

Maintain detailed documentation and manage design revisions throughout development.

Manufacturing Collaboration

Work directly with international manufacturing partners to translate designs into finished products.

Communicate technical requirements clearly and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.

Review and evaluate pre-production samples for quality, functionality, and consistency.

Collaborate on material and component selection to optimize performance, quality, and cost.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Must Haves

5+ years of experience in industrial design or physical product development, with a strong portfolio of products brought to market.

Strong understanding of materials, pattern construction, stitching, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in CAD/design software, prototyping, and creating manufacturer-ready technical specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage projects independently.

Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

Experience working with international manufacturers, particularly in China or Vietnam.

Knowledge of product testing, injection molding, 3D printing, or other manufacturing techniques.

A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering,



or a related field is welcome, but

your portfolio, technical expertise, and ability to turn ideas into successful physical products matter more than formal qualifications.

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive salary:

€38,000–€50,000 gross annually, depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities.

100% remote:
