About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Ingeniero de Producción Field to join their operational team based in Mérida, Yucatán . This hands-on role is critical for overseeing and optimizing the daily production activities of oil and gas wells. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and safe operations, troubleshoot field issues, and implement strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery. This is an excellent opportunity for a field-oriented engineer to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic operational environment within the hidrocarburos sector.Key Responsibilities

Supervising and managing daily oil and gas production operations at the field level.Monitoring well performance, equipment status, and production rates.Implementing artificial lift techniques and optimizing their performance.Troubleshooting operational problems and coordinating necessary maintenance activities.Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.Collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaborating with reservoir engineers and geologists on production optimization strategies.Managing field personnel and contractors effectively.Preparing daily and weekly production reports.Conducting regular field inspections and safety audits.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering,



Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with a strong emphasis on field work.Hands-on experience with various production equipment and artificial lift systems (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift).Good understanding of reservoir principles and well performance analysis.Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in the hidrocarburos industry.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in production reporting software and MS Office suite.Willingness to work extended hours and in challenging field conditions in Mérida, Yucatán .Benefits
