A leading technology consulting organization is launching a new Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation business unit and is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Commercial Director to build, lead, and scale this strategic practice. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially driven leader with proven success selling consulting and professional services around AI, Data, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Applications, or emerging technologies. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping the company's growth strategy, market positioning, and AI consulting proposition. The role combines business development, executive stakeholder management, team leadership, and change management , acting as the visible face of the new practice towards key clients and strategic partners. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the new AI Consulting business unit.
- Identify, develop, and close high-value consulting opportunities with enterprise clients.
- Build a strong pipeline of AI, Data, Automation, GenAI, and Digital Transformation projects.
- Establish strategic relationships with C-level stakeholders across key accounts.
- Position the company as a trusted advisor in AI adoption and business transformation initiatives. Leadership & Practice Building
- Build and scale a new consulting vertical with full ownership of growth objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a commercial team consisting of 3 BDRs and 1 AI-focused SDR.
- Collaborate with delivery, technology, and executive leadership teams to define service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Create sales methodologies, market approaches,



and best practices for sustainable growth. Executive Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary commercial representative of the AI practice with strategic customers.
- Engage directly with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business executives.
- Represent the company at executive meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking activities. Change Leadership
- Act as a catalyst for the organization's AI transformation journey.
- Promote an innovation-driven culture and encourage adoption of emerging technologies internally and externally.
- Drive organizational alignment around the company's AI vision and growth strategy. Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or consulting leadership roles within IT consulting or technology services environments.
- Proven track record developing new business lines, practices, or strategic growth initiatives.
- Strong network and executive-level relationships within medium and large enterprises.
- Experience selling consulting services related to AI, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, or emerging technologies.
- Previous experience managing commercial or business development teams.
- Strong experience navigating complex sales cycles and strategic consulting engagements. Key Competencies
