Experteer Overview In this role you help protect Elastic's data and systems by building and maintaining the security telemetry ingestion pipeline into Elasticsearch.
You'll keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes healthy, manage ILM and cross-cluster search, and automate operations with AI-powered tooling.
You'll work across ingestion, indices, and IR teams to ensure reliable, cost-aware data flows.
This is a hands-on, cloud-native security engineering role with meaningful impact on our security posture.

- Maintain Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes: monitor/upgrade clusters, manage capacity, shards, ILM, and CCS

- Experience with ECK or Elasticsearch on Kubernetes (strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and operations while owning outcomes
- Kubernetes: deploy/operate workloads, troubleshoot pods/jobs
- Terraform: manage cloud and Elasticsearch resources as code
- API integration: consume REST APIs for data ingestion (auth, pagination, rate limits, error handling)
- Python scripting: read/write ingestion/automation scripts (scripting level)
