Senior .NET Developer - Equity Trading

Location: Remote (must be willing to work EST / New York business hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong Equity Trading expertise to join a high-performing financial markets technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing critical trading applications in a fast-paced front-office environment.

This role requires a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies, excellent understanding of capital markets, and the ability to deliver high-quality software within demanding project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance and support Equity Trading applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
- Build and support web services, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Contribute to application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Create and review technical documentation, estimates, and use cases.
- Perform code reviews and ensure software quality standards are met.
- Support testing activities, troubleshooting, and production releases.
- Work closely with global teams operating in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Equity Trading business processes and workflows .




- Minimum 5 years' experience developing enterprise applications.

- Solid understanding of:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Java
- .NET Framework 4.8

- Strong experience with:
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- SQL Analysis Services
- Strong JavaScript development experience.
- Experience building both Windows and Web Services.
- Proven ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver production-quality software in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

Nice to Have
- Experience with jQuery and JSON.
- Experience with software testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Exposure to regression testing and performance testing.

- Devin AI and other AI-assisted development tools
