About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist to join their team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is idóneo for an individual with a passion for sales and delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions to drive sales. The Sales Specialist will also contribute to maintaining store presentation, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer. This is a key position within the store, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to sales. We are looking for someone who can build rapport with customers and contribute to the overall success of the retail outlet in Queenstown. Key Responsibilities
Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, identifying their needs and offering personalized product recommendations.
Drive sales performance by effectively showcasing products and promoting special offers.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, services, and promotions.
Assist with inventory management,



including receiving stock, restocking shelves, and maintaining organization.
Contribute to maintaining store visual standards and ensuring product displays are attractive and current.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Ability to learn product information quickly and effectively communicate benefits to customers.
Experience with POS systems and basic inventory procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Enthusiasm for retail and a passion for helping customers.
Located in or near Queenstown, Eastern Cape.
