What we're looking for
We are looking for an Assistant Professor for the
area of Regenerative Medicine with a PhD
in Biomedical Sciences mainly in the following fields but not limited to: biochemistry, biology, biomedical engineering and bioengineering, who will be required to teach the following areas of knowledge: biomaterials, drug delivery, bacterial infections, protein engineering.
Key responsibilities
To provide high quality bachelor's and master's degree-level teaching in your specialist subjects.
To lead the management and/or coordination of programmes and perform any other academic tasks assigned to you by the Department.

The selection process at UIC Barcelona includes:
Pre-selection Phase
An independent committee, composed of both internal and external experts, will evaluate all applications received.
Its role is to identify the candidates who best match the required profile and to determine who will advance to the next stage of the process.
Evaluation Panel Phase
Finalist candidates will be required to deliver a public oral presentation before an evaluation panel.
This panel consists of two external faculty members and one internal member.
The presentation must cover the candidate's academic background—including research, teaching, and management experience.
Following the presentation, the panel will ask questions to complete the evaluation.
The total duration of this session will be 60 minutes.
Supplementary Evaluation Phase
Top-ranked candidates will proceed to a second stage, which may consist of an interview with members of the Faculty Board or a research seminar.
In any case, candidates will be notified well in advance.
