Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React and associated libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
Design and implement RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange between frontend and backend.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code across the full stack.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX mockups into functional web pages.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues across the application.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices.
Stay current with emerging web development trends and best practices.




Effectively communicate and collaborate with a remote team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
Extensive experience with the React library and its ecosystem.
Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Babel.
Solid understanding of backend frameworks and database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) is a plus.
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies is beneficial.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
Experience working in agile methodologies.
Prior experience with clients or projects related to the Eastern Cape region is advantageous.
