About the Role
Our client is seeking a vibrant and organized Childcare Assistant and Activity Coordinator for their facility in Queenstown . This role is pivotal in supporting the lead educators and ensuring a positive, engaging, and safe environment for children. You will play a key role in organizing and leading stimulating activities that promote learning and development across various age groups. Key Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and supervision of children.
Plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational and educational activities for children.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safety protocols.
Help maintain a clean, orderly, and stimulating learning environment.
Support children's personal care needs,



including feeding and hygiene.
Communicate positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
Previous experience in a childcare setting or working with children.
Passion for child development and creating fun, educational experiences.
Strong organizational and planning skills for activities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a responsible attitude.
Childcare certifications (e.g., First Aid) are highly regarded.
