About the Role
Our client, a crucial service delivery organization operating within the public interest but independent of direct government employment, located in Queenstown, Eastern Cape , is seeking an experienced HR Generalist.
This role is essential for managing the human capital aspects of the organization, ensuring efficient operations and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities
Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain qualified personnel.
Administer employee benefits, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
Oversee performance management systems, supporting goal setting and appraisal processes.
Handle employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with regulations.
Develop, implement,



and update HR policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and organizational policies.
Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
Support health and safety initiatives within the workplace.
Contribute to strategic HR planning and workforce development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a non-governmental or public service-oriented organization.
Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor law.
Experience with HRIS and standard office software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
