We are looking to incorporate an AUXILIARIES AND ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS ENGINEER into our center of excellence for railway projects in Zaragoza. The selected candidate will join the TRAIN SYSTEM department, working on high-tech national and international projects for leading rolling stock manufacturers. Define requirements, manage interfaces, and design vehicle-level concepts, architectures, and earthing schemes for electrical auxiliary systems (converters, battery chargers, etc.), energy storage systems (batteries), and associated high
- to low-voltage components. System Definition:



Create system and functional specifications, perform load management AC/DC calculations, track energy consumption, detect harmonics, manage on-board energy storage and MV/LV power supplies, and conduct detailed performance simulations. Coordinate with other engineering departments (software, schematics, and mechanical teams) to integrate electrical subsystems into the vehicle. Testing & Technical Analysis: Participate in design reviews, technical analyses, prototyping, and on-site testing to ensure functional consistency and compatibility across systems.
