Medtronic seeks an intern to support remote monitoring programs for implantable cardiac devices across Portuguese hospitals. The role involves patient connectivity oversight, data analysis, hospital communications, and exposure to cardiac device platforms and clinical processes over a 12-month hybrid placement in Madrid.

Responsibilities

- Monitor patient connectivity and engagement with remote monitoring programs at Portuguese hospitals, supporting calls in Portuguese
- Assist with remote monitoring platform operations including patient enrollment, removal, and transmission scheduling across all manufacturers
- Conduct technical reviews of remote monitoring transmissions from implantable cardiac devices
- Support hospital communications regarding device events, monitor issues,



and patient non-compliance with monitoring protocols
- Prepare data analysis reports and coordinate regular improvement meetings with hospital partners

Requirements

- Recently graduated or in final year of Engineering or Health Sciences studies
- Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese languages
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
- Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships
- Independent work capability with problem-solving focus and autonomy

Compensation: €1,000 gross monthly plus meal tickets
