About the Role About the Role Our client, a leading property developer focused on revitalizing urban areas, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Real Estate Development Project Manager to spearhead significant projects in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities to manage the complete development lifecycle of complex projects. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, securing funding, managing all phases from concept to completion, including design, construction, and stakeholder relations. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of the property development sector, strong financial acumen, and a proven history of delivering large-scale, profitable developments within the South African context, specifically within the emerging markets of the Eastern Cape. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning and execution of major real estate development projects. Identify and evaluate potential development sites and opportunities. Oversee the financial feasibility studies, budgeting, and funding arrangements for projects. Manage the entire development process, including design, approvals, procurement, and construction. Appoint and manage external consultants, contractors, and service providers. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage stakeholder relationships, including local authorities, investors, and community groups. Mitigate project risks and resolve complex issues as they arise.



Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company's development pipeline. Requirements Master's degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, with at least 5 years in a senior project management capacity. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-million Rand development projects. In-depth knowledge of South African property development regulations, market dynamics, and construction practices, particularly in the Eastern Cape. Exceptional financial management, budgeting, and risk assessment skills. Proven leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in project management software (e.G., MS Project, Primavera). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
