About the role
The Head of Data & AI Products is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise data, analytics, and artificial intelligence strategy across International Health markets. This role provides leadership for Data Product Ownership, Data Engineering, Data-related AI enablement, operational support models, and organizational capability development. The position serves as the key liaison between business leaders, CIOs, and regional stakeholders to ensure data and AI capabilities drive measurable business value while maintaining operational excellence. The role leads a globally distributed team and is accountable for establishing a scalable operating model, driving data product ownership maturity, ensuring clear lifecycle ownership, and overseeing financial performance across the Data & AI portfolio. Data Product Ownership & Strategy Lead the Data Product Owner organization across International Health markets and lines of business. Establish and mature a business-aligned Data Product Ownership framework focused on delivering measurable business outcomes. Define ownership models, accountabilities, and success measures for enterprise data products. Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize investments and align data capabilities with strategic objectives.



Drive adoption of Data as a Product principles across the organization. Data & AI Operating Model Define and maintain the Data & AI operating model. Data Product Ownership Data Lifecycle Ownership Data Engineering Production Support AI Solutions Ensure alignment between business, technology, and operational support functions. Data Engineering Partnership & Delivery Excellence Partner with Data Engineering leadership to establish efficient intake, delivery, deployment, and support processes. Clarify ownership boundaries across development, production support, incident management, and lifecycle management. Ensure successful transition of data products from development through production operations. Regional & Line of Business Support Lead the Data & AI engagement model across multiple international markets and business units. Establish sustainable support models balancing local market needs with enterprise standards. Provide leadership for strategic data and AI initiatives across International Health regions. Program Governance & Automation Leadership Provide executive oversight for strategic automation initiatives, including CDI and GOP programs. Drive transparency and accountability through regular stakeholder reviews and governance forums. Organization Leadership & Talent Development Lead and develop a high-performing general Data & AI organization. Define organizational structure, workforce planning,



and capability-building strategies. Partner with HR and executive leadership on talent acquisition, succession planning, promotions, and career development. Build leadership pipelines and develop future Data & AI leaders. Financial Management & Value Realization Manage Data & AI portfolio financials, budgets, forecasting, and investment planning. Develop business cases and value realization frameworks for data and AI investments. Monitor performance metrics and optimize resource allocation to maximize business outcomes. Qualifications Required Experience 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data, Analytics, AI, Technology, or Digital Transformation. Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments. Proven success building and scaling Data Product Management organizations. Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Business Leadership teams. Experience managing budgets, investment portfolios, and strategic planning activities. Preferred Experience Healthcare or health insurance industry experience. Experience implementing Data as a Product operating models. Background in agile product management, SAFe, Scrum, or related methodologies. Knowledge of data governance, master data management, cloud platforms, and modern analytics ecosystems.
