About the Role




We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish and Catalan Secondary Teacher to join our BSB City Campus team on a part-time, temporary basis to cover a period of staff absence. The successful candidate will primarily teach Catalan A across ESO and Batxillerat, alongside Spanish A at ESO level. The timetable also includes a small allocation of Catalan B teaching. We are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons, develop students' linguistic and literary understanding, and prepare students effectively for external examinations. The ability to work confidently with native or highly proficient speakers of both Catalan and Spanish is essential. At BSB, we value collaboration, initiative and continuous professional development. An enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Philology (Filología). Strong subject knowledge in Catalan language and literature, including the ESO and Batxillerat curricula, and experience teaching Spanish language and literature at ESO level. Excellent command of both Catalan and Spanish, with the ability to teach both languages to native or highly proficient speakers.
