Description Summary:The Regulatory Engagement & Advocacy Manager will lead the company’s regulatory positioning and external engagement activities primarily in the Iberia region. The role sits at the intersection of policy, market design and commercial strategy, ensuring that regulatory developments are anticipated, shaped where possible, and effectively translated into actionable insights for the business.

Key responsibilities
Regulatory monitoring & analysis
- IberiaTrack, analyse and interpret regulatory and policy developments in the Iberia power market (incl. CfDs, market design, grid/connection reform, PPAs)Translate regulatory changes into clear business impacts, risks and opportunitiesProvide timely, decision-oriented insights to senior managementAdvocacy & institutional engagementDevelop and execute advocacy strategies in Iberia aligned with business prioritiesBuild and maintain relationships with key Iberia stakeholders (government, regulators,



policymakers)Support senior leadership engagement with institutionsIndustry associations & positioningRepresent the company in key Iberia industry associations and working groupsContribute to consultation responses and position papersEnsure consistency of messaging and alignment with company strategyStrategic support to the businessPartner closely with commercial, origination and development teams in the Iberia regionSupport participation in CfD rounds and PPA strategyProvide regulatory input into investment decisions and market positioningContribute to broader European topics where relevantTeam managementManage and develop one resourceEnsure prioritisation, quality of outputs and alignment with team objectivesCandidate profileExperience5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, public affairs or energy policyStrong knowledge of the Iberian power market is essentialExposure to other European markets is a plus, but not requiredBackground in renewables, utilities, IPPs, advisory or industry associationsSkillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulation into business implicationsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to engage effectively with both internal and external senior stakeholdersStrong writing skills (briefings, consultation responses, executive summaries)Personal attributesProactive, pragmatic and business-oriented mindsetAbility to operate with autonomy and prioritise effectivelyCollaborative approach and strong team playerComfortable working in an international environmentPay and benefitsAt Nadara, we’re committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.
