Our partner is looking for a Senior Engineer, Backend
- Orchestration based in Spain. As a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in orchestration, you will design and implement core backend services that power complex, high-performance distributed systems. You will contribute to engineering excellence through testing, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement. This remote opportunity offers the autonomy to shape technical solutions while working alongside a collaborative team focused on building impactful financial technology. Design, develop, and maintain core backend services for high-performance, complex distributed systems. Build and optimize backend architecture to support evolving product requirements and business growth. Write clean, modern, well-tested code that follows established engineering standards. Apply modern software development practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD), where appropriate. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability. In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle,



including system design, development, testing, and deployment. Experience designing and implementing backend services for distributed systems. Proficiency in a backend programming language; experience with Python is advantageous, but candidates from other technical backgrounds are welcome. Understanding of scalable system design, code quality, testing strategies, and maintainable software architecture.
