About the Role

Our client, a reputable automotive service centre in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join their dedicated team. This vital role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and professionally, addressing their vehicle service needs.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document them for technicians.
- Clearly explain recommended maintenance, repairs, and services to customers.
- Provide accurate estimates for service costs and timelines.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workshop's appointment calendar.
- Inspect vehicles with customers to identify any visible issues or concerns.
- Effectively communicate any changes or additional findings to the customer during the service process.
- Process service orders, payments, and invoices accurately.




- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and follow-up.
- Maintain a professional and organized service reception area.
- Liaise between technicians and customers to facilitate clear communication.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive terminology, services, and basic repair principles.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using service scheduling software and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
- A professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and management.
- Valid driver's license.
