About the Role

Our client, a charming hotel in the historic town of Queenstown, Eastern Cape , is seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Concierge Supervisor to lead their guest services team. This role is essential for creating memorable experiences for guests, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring seamless arrangements for activities, transportation, and dining. The Concierge Supervisor will be responsible for managing the concierge desk, assisting guests with inquiries, and upholding the hotel's commitment to exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily operations of the Concierge desk, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining, and entertainment.
- Make reservations and arrangements for tours, transportation, theatre tickets, and restaurant bookings.
- Provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and local knowledge.
- Manage guest requests and ensure prompt and satisfactory follow-up.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area.
- Assist in training and mentoring concierge staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.




- Handle guest feedback related to concierge services and report any issues.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the concierge area.
- Build and maintain relationships with local tour operators, restaurants, and transport providers.

Requirements

- A High School Diploma or equivalent; a certificate in Hospitality or Tourism is advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a concierge, guest services, or front desk role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Queenstown, Eastern Cape and its surrounding attractions.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
