WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

We are looking for someone to take on technical responsibility for the CELESTE IOP End-to-End Payload Testbed, a laboratory platform designed to comprehensively verify and validate low-Earth orbit satellite navigation payloads. The testbed will combine radio-frequency signal simulation, precise time and frequency references, measurement instrumentation, test automation, payload monitoring and control, I/Q sample recording and analysis tools. It will enable functional and performance testing and the characterisation of the payload’s temporal and radio-frequency behaviour. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical coordination of the test bench’s development, undertaking the following tasks:

- Defining and maintaining its functional and physical architecture.
- Analysing and consolidating the technical requirements, interfaces and use cases.
- Breaking down the system requirements into functions, equipment, activities and tests.
- Ensuring consistency between the constellation simulator, the payload, the user receiver, the control unit and the instrumentation.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for candidates with a degree in Telecommunications, Aerospace, Electronics, Industrial, Computer Science or a similar discipline.



And with extensive experience in:

- Systems engineering applied to complex technological systems.
- Defining and managing requirements, interfaces and architectures.
- Knowledge of radio frequency systems and chains.
- Fundamentals of signal generation, acquisition and processing.
- High level of English.
