About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence data from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and security feeds.
- Identify emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Develop actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings for technical and executive audiences.
- Provide timely alerts and recommendations to incident response teams and security operations centers (SOCs).
- Conduct in-depth research on threat actors, malware, and vulnerabilities relevant to client industries.
- Develop and refine threat hunting methodologies and playbooks.




- Collaborate with internal security teams to integrate threat intelligence into security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Contribute to the development of threat models and risk assessments.
- Evaluate and recommend new threat intelligence tools and technologies.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the global threat landscape and geopolitical factors influencing cyber activity.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on threat intelligence analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing various types of threat data, including malware, network logs, and forensic artifacts.
- Strong understanding of adversary methodologies, TTPs, and cyber attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK;).
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis and automation is a plus.
- Experience with OSINT gathering techniques and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise threat intelligence reports.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or others are highly desirable.
