About the Role
Our client, a reputable automotive service centre in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join their dedicated team. This vital role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and professionally, addressing their vehicle service needs.
* Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document them for technicians.
* Clearly explain recommended maintenance, repairs, and services to customers.
* Provide accurate estimates for service costs and timelines.
* Schedule service appointments and manage the workshop's appointment calendar.
* Inspect vehicles with customers to identify any visible issues or concerns.
* Effectively communicate any changes or additional findings to the customer during the service process.
* Process service orders, payments, and invoices accurately.




* Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and follow-up.
* Maintain a professional and organized service reception area.
* Liaise between technicians and customers to facilitate clear communication. Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
* Strong understanding of automotive terminology, services, and basic repair principles.
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using service scheduling software and dealership management systems (DMS).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
* Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
* A professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is advantageous.
* Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and management.
