We are looking for an experienced AI Prompt Engineering Specialist to support the development and continuous improvement of an advanced Generative AI platform used within engineering and commercial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex technical and business requirements into effective AI prompts that deliver reliable, accurate, and context-aware outputs.

Working closely with subject matter experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in improving AI-driven workflows and ensuring the platform consistently meets operational and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain structured prompt frameworks for multiple business and engineering domains.
- Improve AI output quality through advanced prompting techniques, including multi-step prompting, contextual grounding, and few-shot learning.
- Manage prompt version control, governance processes, and documentation standards.
- Assess generated outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and reduced hallucination rates.
- Conduct experiments and comparative testing to identify the most effective prompt strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, business users, and domain specialists to integrate prompt solutions into operational workflows.
- Produce clear documentation outlining prompt logic, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Recommend improvements based on developments in Generative AI technology and industry trends.
- Support the rollout of scalable prompting standards across multiple AI use cases and modules.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional experience within the transformer industry or related power equipment sector.
- Familiarity with international engineering standards and customer technical documentation.
- Practical experience working with Large Language Models and prompt engineering techniques.




- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing concepts and context management methodologies.
- Ability to analyse business processes and convert requirements into effective AI-driven solutions.
- Experience optimising prompts through testing, iteration, and performance evaluation.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in cross-functional teams.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Interest in enterprise AI solutions and emerging technologies.
- Exposure to AI API services and willingness to develop Python-based skills.
