Role Description The Chief AI Officer (CAIO) is a full-time, remote executive role responsible for defining and executing CoreFi’s AI vision and strategy across the entire platform and product lifecycle. This role leads the design and deployment of agentic AI capabilities in cloud core banking, ensuring they enhance automation, risk management, compliance, and customer experience while maintaining strong human oversight. The CAIO will collaborate closely with product, engineering, data, compliance, and commercial teams to prioritize AI initiatives, integrate them into microservice-based architecture,



and drive innovation in lending, onboarding, payments, and white-label financial products.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing AI research and experimentation, guiding model development and evaluation, establishing governance frameworks and ethical standards, and setting best practices for data quality, model monitoring, and security. The CAIO also represents CoreFi’s AI strategy externally, building partnerships, supporting client engagements, and contributing to thought leadership in AI-driven financial services.

Qualifications

- Leadership and strategy: Proven experience leading AI, data, or technology organizations, driving end-to-end AI strategy, roadmap, and execution in complex, regulated domains.
- AI, ML, and data expertise: Strong background in machine learning, agentic AI systems, applied data science, model development, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
- Financial services and core banking: Deep understanding of banking products, lending, payments, onboarding/KYC/AML, compliance workflows, and embedded or white-label finance.
- Architecture and platforms: Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, microservice-based platforms, composable architectures, and integration of AI into distributed systems.
- Governance and risk: Demonstrated ability to design AI governance, ethics, and risk management frameworks, including model monitoring, bias mitigation, security, and regulatory alignment.
