Key Responsibilities /

Functional Skills

- Manage and administer Cohesity backup and high-

availability platforms.

- Perform backup engineering, configuration, and optimization activities.
- Resolve critical and escalated incidents related to backup and recovery environments.
- Execute proactive monitoring, maintenance, and performance improvement tasks.
- Plan and perform backup platform migrations, upgrades,

and lifecycle activities.

- Deploy and configure new backup infrastructure and services.
- Develop technical procedures, operational documentation,

and reports.

- Automate recurring backup administration and operational tasks.

Must-Have: • Solid knowledge in Cohesity

- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- Oracle knowledge applied to backup (using RMAN for backup/restore of Oracle instances)
- Backup Agent knowledge (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, SAP and

DB2)

- Shell/batch scripting

Good to have: Storage knowledge (NetApp, Isilon, StorageGrid and Pure)

Working place TCS Spain, Madrid

Working hours 16x5 + oncall

Working from home allowed

Yes – 60% Teleworking, 40% office
