The Instructional Designer (ID) at TransPerfect Learning is part of the eLearning Design Team, composed of Instructional and UI/UX designers, who work collaboratively on creating and delivering bespoke learning solutions for general companies.
This posting is fora bilingual French/English speaker only, with a minimum of C1 level for both languages. Analyze learning needs to be able to effectively determine learning solutions that address knowledge and/or performance gaps in the target marketAuthor high-level design proposals, content outlines and job aids, to ensure fit for purpose learning needs to determine effective learning solutions that address knowledge and/or performance gaps in the targetDevelop storyboards with detailed instructions for the development team using various authoring tools (mainly Articulate Storyline, Rise and ADAPT)Promote collaboration, partnership and relationships among the participants and stakeholders (including clients) in a learning design projectOversee project consistency during learning solution analysis, design, and developmentApply advanced adult learning theories into practical,



application-based learning strategyDesign learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may applySupport team of freelance instructional designers (both English and French speakers)Knowledge of adult learning principles and notions of visual design principlesExperience working in an agile (SAM) and waterfall (ADDIE) design environmentExperience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions including game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios requiring multiple branching elements strongly preferredProficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360 and ADAPT) desiredOrganization (ability to deliver projects on time, ability to estimate efforts for upcoming projects, appreciated experience with productivity tools)Excellent (C1 CEFR level) communication skills in both English and FrenchBS or MA degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or equivalent work experience.
This is a position for an experienced Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Designer who can develop learning products in both English and French and communicate effectively with clients from some of the top corporate brand names in France.
