We are looking for a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a multidisciplinary product development team in Barcelona. In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of a software platform for industrial automation, working on Drives Configuration and Programming software. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers and Application Engineers as part of a integral development team, taking ownership across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to post-release activities. What you'll do
* Transform requirements into software specifications, features and user stories.
* Design and implement new software functionalities.
* Participate in code reviews, design reviews and continuous improvement.
* Identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement appropriate solutions.
* Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of the software.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to improve product quality.
* Contribute to product and feature design decisions.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies relevant to the product.
* 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with ownership across the full software development lifecycle.
* Strong professional experience with C# and .
NET.
* Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture and scalable system design.
* Experience applying design patterns and developing maintainable software.
* Experience with code reviews and unit testing.
* Experience working with CI/CD, DevOps and collaborative development workflows.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Strong problem-solving, ownership and communication skills.




* Experience with WPF.
* Familiarity with Azure or AWS and distributed systems concepts.
* Experience or exposure to React and integration with backend services.
* Knowledge of Industrial Automation, including PLC, Motion Control, Inverter or Servo systems.
* Experience in web or mobile development.
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, Copilots and rapid prototyping. Hybrid model
