The role of a Privacy Counsel at Euronet involves supporting legal and strategic guidance on data protection and privacy compliance across the organization. Support the Privacy Office and EU business teams by providing basic data protection and privacy guidance, under supervision, to help manage privacy risks and support business needs. Assist with drafting and reviewing Data Privacy and Data Transfer Agreements in cooperation with local internal counsel and support negotiations with third parties. Support Privacy Consultants in addressing local regulatory requirements and day-to-day compliance topics. Assist in the preparation and review of Data Privacy Notices and Cookie Notices for company websites and applications. Support documentation of data processing activities, including identifying lawful bases for processing, data transfers, and contributing to Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).



Monitor developments in local data protection regulations and help share relevant updates with the Privacy Office and business stakeholders while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Qualified lawyer (admitted or in the final stage of qualification) in EU/EEA jurisdiction At least 3 years experience in a corporate, consulting, or law-firm environment Initial hands-on exposure to data protection, privacy, compliance, or regulatory work Fluent English as a working language, with strong written and verbal communication skills Hands-on exposure to GDPR compliance activities (e.g. DPAs, international data transfers, DPIAs/PIAs, RoPA, DSRs, breach handling) Formal privacy training or strong interest in pursuing certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E or ISO-related privacy paths Additional language skills (Lithuanian and/or other EU languages) or prior exposure to financial services / FinTech Hybrid Working Model
