Responsibilities About the Team TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. The Business Development Team is responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing emerging merchants as well as creating long-term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages hundreds of accounts across various verticals.
The team is seeking a Business Development Intern who is responsible for identifying and onboarding e-commerce brands/retailers/merchants and providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success on TikTok Shop. Responsibilities
- Lead qualification; Identify relevant sellers for onboarding based on lead lists and own industry research, support merchant acquisition and - once onboarded - first product listings and sales.
