Telecommunications Engineer - Waveform & Data Link Design Location: Madrid, MD, ES Profile: Defence and Security Required experience: More than 2 years of experience Working mode: Hybrid At Indra Group, we protect what matters most. - Design waveforms and data links (Layers 1 and 2) for tactical and strategic communication systems.
- Implement digital signal processing techniques: modulation, channel coding, synchronization, etc.
- Develop models and simulations in Matlab/Simulink to validate designs.
- Participate in hardware implementation (FPGA, DSP and/or microcontrollers) using VHDL.
- Collaborate in system integration and testing in real environments.
- Contribute to architecture definition and performance optimization in RFSoC/MPSoC solutions.
- Work closely with other technical teams to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.

- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Communications Engineer.
- Experience in waveform and/or data link design (Layers 1 and 2).
- Knowledge of digital signal processing (modulation, coding, etc.).
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and VHDL.
- Experience with digital hardware (FPGA, DSP and/or microcontrollers).
- Valuable: experience in C/C++ and RFSoC/MPSoC architectures.
