Contract BMS Commissioning Engineer

Data Centre Location: Madrid, Spain

Rate: Negotiable

We are looking for contract BMS Commissioning Engineers to support an active data centre project in Madrid. The work is focused on pre-commissioning and controls validation. A lead engineer is already established on site, so this position does not require someone operating at lead level or commissioning major plant independently.

Responsibilities

- Carry out point-to-point testing
- Complete point-to-graphic checks
- Verify field devices, controllers and monitoring points
- Identify and record faults, wiring issues and incorrect mappings
- Support the lead engineer and site commissioning team
- Complete testing records and report progress clearly
- Assist with final BMS testing and handover activities

Required experience




- Hands-on BMS or building-controls commissioning experience
- Previous experience with Automated Logic Controls (ALC/WebCTRL or similar)
- Strong point-to-point and point-to-graphic testing experience
- Able to read controls drawings, schematics and points schedules
- Previous data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred
- Based in Madrid or elsewhere with practical access to the site
- Right to work in Spain
