Position: Software Engineering – Custom Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cross-Platform Software Engineer to build and maintain mobile applications that help network professionals measure, troubleshoot and validate Wi-Fi and network performance in the field.

You will contribute to Speedtest Pulse, Ekahau Survey and Ekahau Analyzer, working across a technology stack that combines Kotlin Multiplatform, Vue.js, TypeScript, Capacitor and native iOS and Android development.

This is an end-to-end engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across different layers of a mobile platform and taking ownership of software quality and delivery.

What you'll do





- Develop and maintain shared application logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), covering networking, data management, synchronization and device communication.
- Build and maintain web-based mobile interfaces using Vue.js, TypeScript and Capacitor.
- Contribute to native iOS development using Swift and Android development using Kotlin.
- Work across the stack, helping address technical bottlenecks wherever your skills are most valuable.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support application releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Use AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow for specifications, implementation, code reviews, testing and quality assurance.
- Keep the shared codebase simple, maintainable and up to date.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver reliable mobile solutions for real-world networking challenges.

What we're looking for

- Solid professional experience in software engineering, particularly in mobile application development.
- Strong experience with Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS.
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly valued. Candidates with a strong native mobile background and the ability to work across platforms are also encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend development.



Experience with Vue.js and Capacitor is a plus.
- Good understanding of software architecture, testing, CI/CD and production releases.
- Daily experience using AI coding agents, with a focus on code quality, testing and maintainability.
- An end-to-end ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong English communication skills (B2+ level or above), both written and spoken. The interview process will be conducted in English.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of networking technologies, including wired and wireless protocols.
- Experience with Wi-Fi analysis, network diagnostics or communication with external devices.
- Familiarity with data synchronization and data collection in mobile environments.
- Experience maintaining and releasing applications across both iOS and Android.

Working arrangements

- Hybrid work: Availability to work from our Alicante office 2–3 days per week is required.
- Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00–18:00
- Friday: 08:00–14:30
- Summer schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–15:00; Friday, 08:00–14:30
