Internal Audit & Compliance Specialist

At CUATRECASAS, we are looking for an Audit professional with at least 4 years of experience to assess the appropriate design of internal controls and monitor their compliance and effectiveness across different departments of the firm. The successful candidate will actively join the firm's In-house

Functions and responsibilities

- Assess the design of internal controls implemented in the firm's key processes.
- Monitor compliance with and the effectiveness of internal controls, in accordance with the annual plan established for the entire Cuatrecasas group.
- Verify compliance with applicable external and internal regulations across the firm's key business processes.
- Perform planned audit work under the supervision of the area manager.
- Propose action plans arising from audit reports.
- Participate in reporting to Senior Management.

Profile we are looking for

- 4 to 5 years of experience in external and/or internal audit.
- University degree in Law, preferably.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Empathy, a positive attitude, versatility and teamwork.
- Objectivity, integrity and commitment to compliance.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with an analytical and strategic approach.
- Proactivity and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
