Shift premium: Additional compensation for shift work according to the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical Industry Qualifications &Skills;: Education: University degreein Chemistry, having a master’s degree will be considered an asset, Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience:Entry level Technical Knowledge: strong foundation in organic and organometallic chemistry, fractional distillation and handling larger scale chemical equipment.

Languages: Professional working proficiency and fluency in English is required for reading SOPs, technical literature and communication with customers when needed.

Physical demands: Ability to work on foot, handle raw materialcontainers up to 25 kg, and work comfortably with the required personal protective equipment and tools including suits and respirators when required.

Position: We are seekinga highly skilled and safety conscious Kilo-Lab Chemnist to join or Production and chemical development team. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling up custom and specialty chemical processes and producing from laboratory bench scale (grams) to kilo-lab scales (hundreds of grams to tens of kilograms.



You will optimize process parameters to ensure processes are for pilot plant or commercial manufacturing are safe, robust and reproducible. Core responsibilities

•Process Scale-up: Safely operate kilo-lab glass reactorsand distillation set-ups, and filtration equipment to produce batches from grams to 15 kilos. •Process Optimization: Evaluate, modify, optimize synthetic routs to improve yields, reduce cycle times, decrease waste and control costs. •Safety & Hazard assessment: Perform scale-up safetyreviews, thermal hazard evaluations, and risk assessment to prevent exothermic or over pressure incidents and ensuring strict compliance with EHS protocols.

•Analytical ln-Process Control: Monitor reaction progress and product characterization using standard analytical techniques, including GC, GPC, FT-IR, NMR, RI,Colorimeter, acid base and l

Document and complete batch records, mass balances and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for seamless tech transfer packages and recipes with high accuracy adhering strictlyto EHS regulatory standards and cost accounting guidelines. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with R&D; Process chemist, Production management, Analytical Chemists, Pilot plant and commercial manufacturing operators.to facilitate smooth technology transfers.
