An international company operating in the sports and entertainment sector is looking to recruit a

Process and Controls Manager to lead the oversight of internal controls, SOX compliance and compliance coordination. Based in Madrid, the role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic, multinational organisation undergoing significant transformation.

- Oversee the internal controls framework and SOX compliance programme, covering financial, operational and technology controls.

- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the quality of control documentation, supporting evidence and testing activities.

- Manage the tracking and remediation of control deficiencies, working closely with process owners to implement corrective actions.

- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams to embed controls into business processes and systems.

- Advise management on risk mitigation, control improvements and the development of a strong internal control culture.

- Assess the impact of organisational changes, business transformations and technology implementations on the internal control framework.

- Coordinate compliance initiatives and governance reporting with the international parent company

Required Profile

- Strong experience in SOX,



internal controls, audit and compliance.

- Solid knowledge of COSO and SOX frameworks, as well as the Three Lines of Defence model.

- Experience with business process controls, entity-level controls and IT general controls.

- Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.

- Fluent Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.

- Experience in listed companies, multinational groups and SOX readiness or implementation projects will be an advantage.

- Familiarity with GRC tools such as AuditBoard/Optro and professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA or ROAC will be considered a plus.

- Based in Madrid or willing to work on-site at the company's headquarters, with the right to work in Spain.
