Role Description I’m offering a one-year postdoctoral position in my group in Barcelona, working at the exciting intersection of statistical physics, biology, nanomedicine, and environmental science. Our research focuses on Bio-Nano Complex Matter, combining theoretical and computational approaches with emerging tools such as machine learning to address experimental limitations and predict how complex systems behave across time and length scales. Qualifications

- Candidates should possess knowledge of Monte Carlo methods, molecular dynamics packages, the fundamentals of machine learning and GPU programming.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills, including independent project planning, scientific literature review, hypothesis formulation, and dissemination of results through publications and presentations.




- Candidates should possess a robust background in Physics or closely related fields, with a strong understanding of soft matter, nanoscience, or biophysics.
- Candidates should possess Data Analysis skills, including quantitative analysis, statistical methods, and the use of relevant software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar).
- Candidates should possess Teaching and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to support undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to academic activities when required.
- A PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Nanoscience, Biophysics, or a closely related discipline, obtained or close to completion, is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential; knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is an asset but not mandatory.
- Evidence of scientific productivity (e.g., peer-reviewed publications, conference contributions) and the ability to work collaboratively in an international, interdisciplinary environment will be highly valued.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm are required.
