Experteer Overview
In this role you will own supplier quality for composite materials and components, ensuring robust processes, material integrity, and regulatory compliance across the supplier base. You will interface with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, NDT, and program quality to secure reliable composite manufacturing, with hands-on site presence to verify processes. You will drive qualification, validation, audits, and continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve supplier maturity. This position offers meaningful impact on space-grade composite structures and high-reliability production.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Monitor supplier quality across development, qualification, and serial production
• Qualify new composite suppliers via capability assessments, readiness reviews, and audits
• Execute system, process, and special process audits (layup, curing, machining, bonding)
• Track performance with scorecards, KPIs, and improvement roadmaps
• Control composite manufacturing through CPPs, KC monitoring, process windows, and repeatability
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and process validation per AS9102 and AST SpaceMobile requirements
• Identify and report risks using PFMEA and process risk assessments
• Review and approve material certifications, CoCs, and quality records




• Ensure regulatory and internal standard compliance
• Provide technical support for NDT (UT, C-scan, RT, thermography) and review results
• Lead quality investigations for defects and implement CAPAs
• Act as quality liaison to composite suppliers and advise internal stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of prepregs, resin infusion/RTM, autoclave and on-line curing technologies
• Travel up to 50% to supplier facilities for on-site verification

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience with composites
• Experience with composite materials and special processes
• Familiarity with ECSS/ESA/NASA or equivalent aerospace standards (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with composite NDT and acceptance criteria (preferred)
• High-reliability or safety-critical product experience (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and independent working ability
• Detail-oriented and hands-on with supplier interaction
• Data-driven, process-oriented approach to quality
