Experteer Overview
In this role you help ensure each deal aligns with Santander CIB’s risk-return objectives. You will work across product, coverage, risk and finance teams to evaluate transaction profitability, capital implications and pricing thresholds. You’ll analyze accounting and capital concepts to shape tailored solutions and support the transaction admission process. This is a collaborative, data-driven role that contributes to capital management and strategic decisions. You will join a cross-functional team on a journey of risk-aware growth in a technology-enabled environment.

• Support assessment of transaction profitability and alignment with strategy and risk-return objectives
• Analyse accounting, regulatory capital and economic capital implications of proposed transactions
• Participate in transaction admission processes and define pricing thresholds
• Contribute to capital management initiatives including capital rotation
• Perform financial and portfolio analysis to monitor performance and identify trends
• Coordinate inputs across product, coverage, risk, finance and other teams




• Support delivery of team projects and ensure timelines are met
• Extract, analyse and validate information from databases and internal reporting tools

Responsabilidades
• 1-2 years of professional experience in consulting, audit, banking, lending, or reporting-related functions
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related field; Master’s preferred
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
• Basic understanding of financial products (loans, bonds, credit derivatives)
• Familiarity with profitability and risk-return metrics and IFRS
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (preferred)
• Basic programming or data analysis knowledge (preferred)
