Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the architecture and evolution of AVEVA's hybrid infrastructure platforms, driving automation and resilience. You will partner with Iu0026amp;O engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure designs that align with the strategic roadmap. You will define standards, govern architecture quality, and guide complex programmes while ensuring platforms remain current and performant. You will shape enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, private cloud, and multi-cloud environments, making a strong impact on operational excellence and risk management.

• Define reference architectures and target-state designs for VMware VCF 9.0 platform and lifecycle patterns
• Define observability strategy with Aria Operations and ensure adoption
• Define VCF Automation approach and guide implementation and sustainment
• Define backup/recovery architecture using Veeam and Data Domain, including DR readiness
• Design hybrid cloud architecture and operating model across Azure and AWS
• Define VDI/RDS architectures and standards for Omnissa Horizon, Workspace ONE, and Microsoft RDS
• Define enterprise image/template strategy with repeatable build pipelines and security baselines
• Lead design and implementation of major infrastructure programmes and migrations
• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and ensure post-incident outputs




• Establish engineering standards for automation and configuration management
• Evaluate emerging technologies and produce assessments and recommendations
• Mentor and coach infrastructure engineers and support professional development

Responsabilidades
• At least 12 years in infrastructure/platform engineering with architecture ownership
• Expert-level hands-on virtualization/private cloud experience (VMware/VCF preferred)
• Experience deploying Horizon/Workspace ONE/RDS at enterprise scale (preferred)
• Strong storage architecture expertise (SAN, VSAN, NAS, software-defined storage)
• Experience or exposure to infrastructure-as-code
• Ability to architect and operate enterprise monitoring/observability standards (Logic Monitor and Aria Operations)
• Ability to architect, govern, and troubleshoot provisioning automation (VCF Automation)
• Backup/recovery architecture experience (Veeam/Data Domain, DR testing)
• Hybrid cloud knowledge across Azure and AWS (preferred)
• Strong Windows Server and Linux engineering expertise
• Experience in integral enterprise environments with audit/compliance expectations
• Security-by-design mindset and stakeholder management skills
