Role Description The Mechanical Design Draftsperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Olot. This role is responsible for preparing detailed mechanical design drawings and 3D models for industrial machinery using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with mechanical engineers and the technical office to refine designs, updating and maintaining technical documentation, and supporting the adaptation of machinery to specific client requirements. The draftsperson will also assist in design reviews,



help optimize existing equipment for performance and reliability, and support the inspection and maintenance teams with accurate drawings and layouts. Coordination with production and installation teams to resolve design issues and ensure manufacturability is a key part of the role. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and experience applying them to industrial machinery design.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, preferably in mechanical applications.
• Knowledge of Maintenance processes and equipment lifecycle, with the ability to design for reliability and ease of service.
• Experience in Inspection of mechanical components and assemblies, including dimensional checks and quality standards.
• Background or familiarity with Automotive or similar industrial sectors, especially in mechanical systems and machinery.
• Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the meat-processing or industrial machinery sector is an advantage.
