Experteer Overview
In this role you drive the design and review of protection and control systems for HV substations, guiding engineering teams across concept to construction. You will ensure safe, reliable operation while upholding high engineering standards and seamless integration with primary equipment and SCADA. You lead technical delivery and mentor junior engineers, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver impactful substations projects. The opportunity combines hands-on engineering with leadership to shape next-generation substation protection and automation. This role offers exposure to high-stakes systems within a general, innovative infrastructure firm.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead and contribute to HV substation protection and control design, including protection schemes, control architectures, and automation
• Define protection philosophies and communication interfaces per project standards
• Review and produce secondary engineering deliverables: schematics, interlocking diagrams, relay settings, and coordination studies




• Ensure integration of protection with SCADA, networks, and primary equipment
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning
• Mentor and lead protection and control teams; ensure quality and standards compliance
• Coordinate activities across primary, civil, system studies, and commissioning teams
• Interface with clients, managers, contractors, and vendors to align technical deliverables

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• +10 years of protection and control engineering experience for HV substations
• Proven delivery of secondary systems across concept, design, and commissioning
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience
