From Hays, we are supporting a leading international company with a strong presence across Europe in the expansion of its global Technology organization. We are looking for an SAP HCM Consultant to join an international team responsible for the evolution and harmonization of HR systems and processes across multiple countries.

This is a hands-on role combining SAP HCM support and maintenance with international projects, rollouts and implementations , working closely with local HR teams, IT, Product and key users across Europe.

The current landscape is primarily based on SAP HCM On-Premise , with a technological roadmap towards SAP HANA and, in the longer term, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central .

Your Responsibilities:

- Optimize and harmonize international HCM processes across different countries.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP HCM solutions .
- Configure, maintain and continuously improve SAP HCM, mainly across PA, PT, OM and ESS/MSS .
- Manage incidents, tickets and corrective/evolutionary maintenance.
- Participate in international implementations, rollouts and go-lives .
- Support the deployment of new HR solutions across different countries.
- Work with Fiori-based employee self-service solutions and third-party HR tools.
- Coordinate with local HR teams, key users, IT and Product teams.
- Balance local country requirements with the organization's global standards.
- Take ownership of assigned topics, managing them from initial requirements through implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the international team.





The position is not focused on Payroll and does not involve SuccessFactors implementation projects . SuccessFactors is currently used in other areas such as Recruiting and Learning, which are managed by separate teams. You will work within a broad HR ecosystem that currently includes:

- SAP HCM On-Premise
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Personnel Time Management (PT)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- ESS/MSS
- SAP Fiori
- Integration with several third-party HR solutions

The organization is currently working with an On-Premise landscape, with a roadmap towards SAP HANA and a longer-term vision of moving towards Employee Central . We are looking for someone with:

- Solid professional experience working with SAP HCM .
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM customizing , ideally within SAP ERP environments.
- Good knowledge of at least several of the following areas: PA, PT, OM, ESS/MSS and Fiori .
- Good understanding of HR processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical/functional solutions.
- Experience in international projects, rollouts, implementations or process harmonization .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects and topics.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders from different countries and cultures.
- Collaborative, proactive and hands-on mindset.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Degree in Computer Science,



Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.

You will join a small international HCM team , with colleagues based in Spain and Germany, working closely with other integral technology and HR teams. The team supports HR technology across most of the organization's international markets, combining day-to-day operations with projects, implementations and country rollouts .

You will have direct exposure to different countries, processes and stakeholders, making this an interesting opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond purely local SAP HCM environments.
