Job Purpose/summary The main purpose of this role is to provide inspections, maintenance and repair of live saving and firefighting appliances onboard ships and offshore platforms and to coordinate teams composed by other technicians.

Key responsibilities

- Maintenance and repairs of the life saving and/or firefighting appliances on board of Ships and off shore platforms
- Coordination of work and other shipyard activities, failure analysis, and definition or implementation of corrective measures.
- Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and overhaul activities on such systems
- Preparation of technical reports





Required qualification · Professional High School certificate

· Good spoken and written English (fluency is a plus)

Required experience, technical required qualification knowledge & skills

- Deep knowledge of the systems installed onboard ships.
- Assertiveness, problem solving and ability to resolve conflicts.
- Ability to work in a structured manner and on board ship
- Ability to work as part of a team
